Illustrator extraordinaire Helen Oxenbury of We’re Going on a Bear Hunt fame lends her talent to this book by creating the most realistic and adorable drawings of babies we have ever seen. The detail in the chubby fingers and tiny toes is breathtaking. With every turn of a page, we are met with another adorable baby from across the world, including a very poorly little boy with a snotty nose that will break your heart.
The interactions between the babies are drawn with such skill and knowledge that it is no wonder Oxenbury is the recipient of numerous awards, including the prestigious Kate Greenaway Medal for Illustration.
